Bofan Yu is a Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) researcher and thesis-based M.S. student in Computer Science at Simon Fraser University, supervised by Xing-Dong Yang. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University, and previously worked as a software engineer at Vaisala Canada Inc.
His research in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) bridges sensing-enabled interaction and AI-based modeling of human intent, with a focus on intent models grounded in how people behave and interact in the physical world.
